Bartenders - 3 years minimum experience in a full service bar environment. Must have extensive wine and spirits knowledge. At least 21 years old.
Hosts - 1 year of experience in a full service environment. Excellent people skills a must!
Runners - 1 year of experience in a full service environment.
HOTEL
Valet - Clean driving record.
Security - Previous experience preferred.

Sales Manager
The Padre Hotel has a current opening for a Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is a hospitality superstar with a proven track record of exceeding room revenue goals and building lasting relationships with clients. Applicants must be highly motivated, play well with others and thrive in busy environment.
Job Duties include:
- Drive market share through implementation of effective transient and group pricing strategies
- Solicit new business and respond to sales inquiries
- Implement promotional programs and packages to increase occupancy and revenue results through hotel website and OTA channels
- Monitor competitor rates and adjusts selling strategies and campaigns to increase occupancy and maximize short and long term room revenue forecasts.
- Negotiate and contract group room blocks. Manage groups including confirmation, deposits, cut off dates, arrival and production.
- Negotiates rates and coordinates contracting for consortia and other key accounts
- Host site inspections with prospective clients. Welcome hotel VIPs.
- Produce weekly/monthly reports, i.e., call productivity reports,
- Develop and monitor trace system for existing and new accounts.
- Grow relationships and maintain accurate database of accounts and travel agents.
- Conduct weekly Sales and Marketing meetings to review existing business and develop new strategies to promote growth.
- Participate in weekly revenue strategy and events meetings and disseminates information to ensure optimal revenue and operational success.
- Responsible for the follow through and updating of sales and marketing plan
- Plans and coordinate events related to hotel room blocks. Candidate must have flexible schedule.
Catering Sales Manager
The Padre Hotel has a current opening for a Catering Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is a hospitality superstar with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals and building lasting relationships with clients. Applicants must be highly motivated, play well with others and thrive in busy environment.
Job Duties include:
- Maximize hotel revenue by selling catering functions such as weddings, board meeting, corporate dinners etc.
- Solicit new business and respond to sales inquires
- Negotiate event contracts including upselling custom menus, AV, etc.
- Meticulously coordinate client events to exceed expectations at every opportunity
- Create and execute banquet event orders
- Effectively communicate client expectations to F&B managers, banquet and kitchen staff
- Host site inspections with prospective clients
- Develop and monitor trace system for existing and new accounts.
- Attend trade/wedding shows to secure new business
- Candidates must have flexible schedule as this position is expected to be on-site at most events to greet
- clients and ensure flawless event execution.
